The little story behind Move In Pink

About

At the heart of this movement is Lety, a 40-year-old woman who, in 2021, learns that she has breast cancer. Not easy. A tough diagnosis.

Fortunately, the disease is detected early. But the battle is still tough: surgery, chemotherapy, reconstruction… Months of hardship, with one clear goal in mind - to beat the illness and run her first 5K race in under 30 minutes as a symbol of remission.

Not simple, especially after a year of treatment, lost weight, and a tired body… and on top of that, running isn’t even her favorite sport! No matter. Lety trains with determination, and she can count on her triathlete husband and a strong support team around her. Together, they take part in La Levalloisienne, a race organized in her city. And guess what? Mission accomplished: she crosses the finish line in 29 minutes and 40 seconds!

But beyond the stopwatch, it’s a real victory over illness - a race run in pink, surrounded by friends, a deeply emotional moment. A powerful symbol of remission and hope.

There’s no such thing as a small victory: one step at a time, we move closer to our goal in pink.

Today, with Move In Pink, we want to share this beautiful story and support all those who fight.
